Insta-ride? SF Fogwise
The SF Beach Fogwise Tour
When: 50 mins (Sat., 1:45pm) from now.
I just made that up. Though I am feeling nostalgic for my stomping grounds and will be slowly pedaling the bike path/route that runs along Ocean beach (or "Big Beach" if you're my senior), within the hour. From this side of Twin Peaks, it looks like it may be light overcast at the beach.
I'm hoping it's an ...eeeaasy... few miles. I'll start where the path hits Sloat Blvd./Zoo and make my way
north towards the Clliff House, with a pause at the Wise Surfboard shop, I'm sure, just across Great Highway from the bike path. After that, I'll probably make my way back to the startpoint.
If you care to join me, be there. If local color commentary is required, I can probably provide.
No promises of safety, average speed, weather conditions, or any forethought or other considerations for your well-being are implied by the above.

Did you see the golf/frisbee game. guys going through the park in camping gear and trying to land frisbees in baskets. BTW We had on our South Park Kits! Mine was "Quit *****en" and the Lady was "You guys suck" You might have seen us.

A near-miss, taxi777. I rode from 2:00 to 3:00pm and had mild wind and ideal temperatures all along the beach. Turns out, that's Bike Route 95.
Distance - Zoo <--> Cliff House, round-trip = 6 miles, level and easy. Just what I was looking for.
Sorry for the cr*ppy cel-camera images. Had some fun in the editor, anyway.
Milestone #1: Wise Surfboard Shop - blanks in window.
The climb at the end of the first leg.
Made it - bike older than (current) Cliff House. Appropriate (for these shots) Camera Obscura attraction in background.
Liked the shadow from the previous image.
View back down the hill. Hit the roadway for the descent - wheeee!!
Lesser known Ocean beach danger - giant seagulls. Always wear a helmet.
