Simple. The two reasons I love riding my bike. It's far and it's away.
I had considered Big Bird, because that's what I think I look like, with the big yellow jacket and black tights on my legs, which are long and skinny (I'm 5'7" witha 33" inseam.) But I didn't want to get into a copyright infringement thing with Sesame Street. Those Muppet's attorneys are brutal.

Back in College (UCSB '86), when I was a Poly Sci major, all I talked about was how I was going to run for Senate by 2004. I was so obsessed by politics that my friends started calling me Senator (last name starts with W). Went to law school, worked Clinton/Gore 1992, got disillusioned with politics and pay attention to politics only marginally. Ended up in house with a major Internet company.

When I first started biking, I was living in San Mateo, and there is this really good hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant there that I loved going to either on the weekends or my days off (I had quite a few of them, my job wasn't very constant). Anyway, my favorite dish was (and still is) sweet and sour pork. The cook is a very friendly lady, and has a very interesting story to tell (for another day).
So I just combined the two and came up with sweetnsourbkr.

I'm bored at work, so it's time for a little thread resurrection!
Powpow is the nickname for the deep powder I used to snowboard while living in Jackson Hole for 6 years. It has nothing to do with cycling or explosions or prisoners of war and I have no idea why I chose it for BF

Bookman is obvious to Seinfeld fans: the library cop played hillariously by Philip Baker Hall. One my all-time favorite TV characters.

Well, my name is Lance and the car I always wanted was a Mach One. I used the handle LanceMach on a couple other forums, so I used it here as well. Side note - I did end up getting my Mach One (a 1969 4 speed), but sold it to my brother-in-law: my 67 Mustang Coupe is a LOT more fun to drive (that's the '67 as my avatar)! Still, the Mach One is one mean lookin' car!

I use to play alot of basketball back in the days (before my knees gave out). Eric is my formal name but people use to call me "Air Ric" I thought I would replace the "c" with an "x" to give it a little bit more jazz.

I picked my user name based upon a local delicacy from where I was born and raised.

My grandparents used to make this all the time. Yummy !!!

An old coworker of mine just started calling me piopio after some Japanese plush toy named Piyo-Piyo. It's a squat little yellow duck.
Well, I've got flat feet, I'm fairly squat in stature, and Pio is the first part of my last name so it stuck. Rpiopio.

Gee3 - Cuz I'm a shmuck and couldn't think of anything good back in my car forum days. So I just transfered the user name to every board I haunt. Ack!
