Nothing like watching the rain drops pass through my headlight at speeds. The best part is when I get to work and see the amazed/confused look on people's faces. Its only rain people. The worst that can happen is you get wet.

So I'm trying to remember an old route that I used to do with Fremont Freewheelers. It started at the Fremont Bart station, and the destination was Berkeley. I know we went climbing Palomares, then through Castro Valley, Redwood, Pinehurst, Skyline, then Grizzly Peak. I think that's the route, at least, but I cannot remember which route we took from Grizzly Peak to the Berkeley Bart station. Is there any old time Fremont Freewheelers who remembered this route? It was a cool route ... we returned by riding Bart back to Fremont.

It's been such a long time since I did that ride, but I believe Karen White led it ... not sure if she is still with FFBC.

From Grizzly Peak, go left on Euclid. Euclid takes a few turns, but stay on it until a right on Hearst. Then left on Shattuck to get to the BART station.
