Who's in? The series has been great fun so far. Hamilton should be interesting...different character than most of the other climbs.

The only thing blazing was my lungs. I am much more suited for Mt Hamilton. However I cant really take off and leave my wife all day to cook by herself. I wish I could do it, cause it is more my kinda of grades. Big ring climbing and keep the momentum going. I havent been doing any sustained climbing lately and it really showed as I died with a mile to the top. I went out a punished myself with 6 repeats on Kennedy yesterday.

I really wanted to do this one, but I can't bail on my obligations, if the race was earlier in the AM and I wasn't so slow, I'd be able to. Maybe I'll just do my OLH / Skyline / Kings loop a few times or something.

Good question. I will probably go with 2 smaller bottles, maybe not quite full. Or if I'm feeling really brave, just 1 large one, full. I hate carrying water I don't use in a race...but this is going to be ~1.5 hrs or longer at fairly high intensity.

My wife and I did a trial ride up MH three weeks ago on the weekend that it was warm and I consumed three large water bottles on the climb. It will be cooler Thursday and I think I am taking two large ones and plan on drinking them. On the training ride, I felt great the last 7 miles and I think part of it was I was not dehydrated.
