Ugh! Can't ride till mid-January.

Well, I had my follow-up with the neuro-surgery folks yesterday and while things are progressing as expected, I still need to wear the brace for two more weeks and I can't exercise till at least Jan 22nd (after the three month follow-up).

This is driving me nuts.

Sorry to hear that, Henry. Just don't rush it. The road will still be there, waiting for you to attack them.

Sorry to hear the news, Henry. But, better to listen to the Doctors! Think long term .

Are you getting any kind of exercise at all?

Gosh that sucks. Does it make you feel better at all that it's freakin cold and windy right now?
Seriously though, how are you feeling?

I asked if I could even spin gently on the trainer, nope. I can walk but I don't see how that's any easier than spinning and walking doesn't get my heart rate up very much. I guess it is _only_ six more weeks.

I wonder if playing the Wii games with my kids after Christmas counts as exercise.

Take advantage of the break. While the rest of us are freezing our cahones, you nice and warm.

Sorry to hear that Henry. Well, just think of it this way... you don't have to ride in the cold for a few more weeks.

At least walking is some form of exercise, and better than nothing.

and maybe when you finally get back on the horse I can keep up with you for the first couple of miles!

Henry, sorry to hear that, I'm sure you're very disappointed. But it's much better to make sure you are completely healed up first, that way it will take you less time to get back into shape.

Hang in there H, I'll be ready for an easy spin when you get back on the bike.
