Favorite stuff at TOC Prologe?

What was the coolest product you saw? Best jersey? Hottest rider? Best anything?

My vote goes to the 12 pound Cervello I picked up. I think they had it tied down so it wouldn't float away.

+1 on that. I did find out from the Garmin booth that the 605 and 705 should be available in two weeks. Yeah, right.

This hottie I was walking behind while in the crowd ... oh, you meant marketing product? :D

The Rock racing Team area was by far the biggest attraction. If the riders were not busy warming up, they were signing autographs and mingling with the public. Regardless of what people say, they sure seem to have a big following, and were very fan friendly. I really liked the Rock paint on the bikes.

I was taken aback by the presence of legend Mario Cipollini. :D

No, that counts. If you have photos.

Somehow i don't think any of the booth bait had ever been on a bike.

I LOVED the yellow Mavic neutral support car. I want the car, but I REALLY want all the wheels.

I really like this.

I need to find me a white seat post for my Klein.:D

Mario and I hung out. Well, not really, but we caught him coming out of his hotel.

We're buds now.

The best thing at the prologue was watching David Zabriskie warm up on his time trial bike. He took off his leg warmers and tossed them into the crowd. I got one of them, then later that evening at Chipolte in Mountain View, Slipstream was there and I had him sign it.

The stage 1 was just as good I was able to get Bettini and Boonen to sign some cycling caps for me. And I got to squeeze myself into the journalists tent and watch the finish. The journalists get a plasma screen tv with a feed of the tour to watch while waiting. And the funniest part was the channel 7 guy (abc I think) ask about some guy called "Loui Leipheimer". We had a good laugh at his expense.

Can't wait for Stage 3.
