That's because you said you would only go if it was near your house. And you don't want to drive out of town for it.

Thanks to EVERYONE who showed up .

I had a GREAT time, you were all wonderful!

I'm hoping that some photos get posted here as a follow up...I can't post any of mine until I get back home.

Ok, I'll start.

Just about everyone had a digital camera. East Hill also loves digital cameras, and so did everyone else, as evident below:

Taxi777 at his best

Taxi777 trying out the Richard Sach's frame

East Hill gleefully showing off her Richard Sach

Ms. Incredible showing off her Birdy ... cute foldable bike!

I think there were more cameras than people in attendance, somehow! Between the cameras and the food, it was hard to get anyone's attention to take a picture:

But it eventually worked out:

So we had to send Paula after him to get it back.

We do love those digital cameras, don't we ?

It's a shame no one got a photo of Taxi777 doing his victory ride .

These are great, who's got more?

I had a great time too!!! Glad you could all make it.

Here are my pictures. (Did we mention we LOVE digital cameras?)

Alex and me with our special guest (who I should also mention brought homemade macadamia nut shortbread for everyone)

Pete and Cathy

Ron and Henry

David and Lisa

The famous Richard Sachs bike comes out! Everyone is eyeing it.

And Pete decides to take off with it.

Most of us had a go, even the taller among us. It felt really really smooth.

I then unlocked the Birdy and gave everyone a try. My tires are super reflective! I think everyone agreed it was a very comfortable ride.

Some people also tried out Henry's fixie. Pete had a little trouble adjusting to it after the ride on the Sachs.

Wow, that Birdy really illuminates. Don't have to worry about not being seen in the dark!
