Todays Recovery Ride

Well after yesterdays ride I realized that I need to get back to doing more sustained climbing. So todays recovery ride was an easy trip up hwy 9. What a nice day for an easy climb. There was a pretty strong wind on the mountian, which made it a bit more challenging. But it was a welcomed ride. Legs were tired and at first felt a bit heavy, but they made it. I now realize that I actually have time to do this ride after work. So I guess I will be climbing hwy 9 on a more regular basis. Gotta get my climbing legs back.

Much clearer today, but it was a bit chilly on top. Hope ya'all had a great Sunday.

Great minds think alike! We went up Mt. D. to the junction at a nice easy pace, then rode around until we got our mileage up to 35. Amazing how much better I feel after an easy-going recovery ride.
