Got a bikely for the route pete?? I think my mom would love to do this ride, but I would have to get more info to her. Especially distance and elevation, she is not a newer rider, but has taken some falls so has some reservations about riding.

I'll try to work that up in the next couple of day's. If she gets tired or is not into it she can bail and one of the servant men will escort her safely to where evey she needs to go. The ride is simple, with the only difficult climb being up the presido and small climb to hang gliders. I hope the weather is ok. We might have to take them shopping at Bloomingdales otherwise

Does this mean you're not coming to Berkeley?

I'll be racing in Berkeley and can't do this fun-sounding ride. Guess I'll have to settle for a victory (I should be so lucky) brunch afterward.

Sigh.

So our paths are fated to cross some other time. Sigh.

Oh S*** I didn't put it in my calendar DOH! I really wanted to go too. Well I'll see the starting times if it's early enough I wouldn't mind Barting over. I need to do an early ride before the Mothers day ride anyhow. If not make sure your Photographer takes plenty of pictures of you flying across the finish line with your victory sign!
Next race I'll put in my calendar, it's a long summer and you'll only get better : )

Yep, Everything is optional. If there's a lot of newbies I'll shorten it up. BTW, what are ya wearing?

I don't have pink lycra. Pigtails ala Pippi Longstocking might suffice.

Hey that would work...Thankfully I have a Tmobile shirt cause I look goofy in pigtails...well more goofy than usual.

Cool, I'll be watching for the route, thanks for setting it up Pete, we'll see if moms is up for it. The wife might be too (the dog counts as our kid). If they say yes, or are not on call or something silly like that, then I'll have to zip off to the LBS and pick up a pair of very very pink socks or something.

Hmm my wife doesn't ride so maybe I can talk her into letting me do this ride for her . That will give me a chance to finally get back on the bike this month... So I'll slip into my pink jersey and do the ride with ya Pete ...
Now , If I can make the ride and there is any other guy / men who want to do this ride toooooooo and need some pink gear to wear ... I could lend out some of my extra pink cycling swag for this ride.
Size small long sleeve Pink & black Castelli Jersey
size Med :Grey & Pink Rapha stow away jacket.

Dang it . My son and I already made plans for Julie.

Have a great ride. If it is anything like the oddball ride, it will be fun.

After the Berkeley Road Race I'll be buying my Bike Slave brunch. Unless our kids show up to cheer on their old mother. In that case, they may be buying brunch. I loves me my mimosas, hint, hint.

Most likely we'll race, eat, come home and take a tandem ride. Kids will prolly have to work. I don't need them giving up a day for me, just because it's on the calendar. We've done enough Earth Days at UCD and brunches at Delta of Venus to hold us for a while. A bike ride is a piece of cake, so to speak. I'd rather they visit when they can, rather when society dictates. It means more that way.
