No, here were the top times:
Ned Overend 23:40 (Course record is 23:27) (1st P/1/2 but 52 years old!)
Billy Innes 24:28.8 (1st 35+)
Pizza Man 24:30.1 (2nd 35+ by 1.3 seconds , But it's a PR by 1:15!
Rob Anderson 25:08 (2nd P/1/2, but over 50 also!)
So, the top 4 times overall were by guys 37 and older with the 52 year old being the fastest!
Diablo Scott, thanks for the pix!

Great job Pizzaman!!
All I can say is: it was very hard for me Haven't really been riding since I fractured wrist. I thought-what could be so hard about riding up to mid mountain. I know the mountain well, but when you do not ride it for a while, it will humble you. 36:43 ish for me (off my garmin). Velodiva got 4th, RedRider 6th, Sassy 7th. Don't know any of the other results. Here are some pics:
Velodiva tearing it up
Redrider on the ramp
Sassy taking off
Hermes in his pre race meditation
Me taking off. I went anerobic at 300 meters I knew I would be first at something today
We finished off the day with a nice warm down ride on the tandem
It was a great day to be out riding.

Looking at some of these times you guys/gals look like you had a good outing. Maybe I should just take up a collection from all of you.. and pay my entry fee with it. The way I see it, you're all buying peace of mind, because if I'm there.. YOU wont be last!!! and.. as an added bonus you'll be treated to the full sights and sounds of an amatuer hack who has been known to ride to the point of muscle failure and thus get stuck in his clips and go down with the bike!!
Thanks for the report. Pizza congrats on the PB, sometimes those are better then the win. Maybe the trend will continue and you'll get a new one for the Diablo Challenge as well

Thanks for the photos, Smooooth! You were courageous to do this with your injury. It was indeed a beautiful day for racing and great to see you all. I turned in a 35:38 - missed third place by 7 seconds but at least it was to my teammate - and, hey, I did get a pound of Peet's coffee as my award! Yesterday I did the Beat the Clock TT on Canada - a zone 5 weekend for sure.

This is the place to make your move... I heard a lot of complaining.
