Hot August Tandem Nights ride interest thread

Since Team Madame Butterfat missed the last NorCal tandem rally, I'm fishing to see if there's any biters for another tandem reunion a month from now.

Sunday August 24, 2008
Sacramento, CA

Meeting location to be decided. Route to be decided, but I trust it will be more tandem-specific, and therefore more wheelsucker friendly.

Darn! Same day as the Holstein Hundred, and I'm already registered.

We are interested but the 17th does not work for us either. Our dogs Vet is retiring after 50 years of caring for his animal patients. We are going to the party. Will look for the new date.

On the 17th, I'll probably still be in Omaha visiting the in-laws. (Don't get back till the 18th.)

I read this post as "Great! An excuse to ditch the inlaws a day early!"

Nah, I happily drive that far for bike rides. Getting up an extra two hours early can be tough sometimes, but I generally jump at the opportunity to get out of here.

Sure, you can park at my house, and we'll ride to the start from there.

Oh! Since it'll be near me, it'll be my turn to be fashionably late this time!

Pending route and potential pace, I might be up for being a wheelsucker.
