Maybe the tire blowout was planned. He could have hidden it in the inner tube and, while he was on bended knee pretending to fix the so-called "blowout", pulled it out of the mangled rubber and presented it to her .

I wouldn't put it past him to plan something devious like that!

Probably wouldn't take long for a diamond flying around inside a tire to cause a "so-called blowout"

Estudié en escuela, y me dijeron que "vosotros" sólo es usado en España. Eso está bien, lo me gusta la español de España mejor.

Stick with the wife and kids, you're too tall for me Miguel.

Yeah we had Eurail passes for Italy & France. I made all the reservations in advance for the trains that I could make them for.

I made an excel spreadsheet with all the train numbers, times (dep/arr), and the city/name of the hotel.

I did all of the planning beforehand as far as trains and hotels. So all I had to do was enjoy my vacation, and figure out where we wanted to go for fun from our list of places to see (that I also made beforehand), and planned out each day over breakfast

So I knew when I needed to be at the station, and planned around that. Worked out great!
