aka, the Ride for a Reason. It loops around Lake Natoma in Folsom to raise money for cancer research. My son and I will be doing it. If you do, look for a 6yo in a blue jersey on a blue Specialized Hot Rock that's a little big, and I'll be wearing a solid blue jersey and riding a dark green bianchi. We'll be riding at about 10mph. Say hi!

Well, that ride start was awful. Yup, home already. Don't ask. It wasn't pretty. Way too crowded, way too many inexperienced riders, poor start, no traffic control. I'll be on the ride tomorrow. Talk then if you're interested.

Nah not going to make it. Wife wants to take her new kayak out so I'll be doing a short ride in the AM and then kayaking for the afternoon. I should be asleep already but I'm stupid :\

Sorry to hear that the ride was so disorganized-- I know you & your son were looking forward to a good time out there. Maybe you two might consider doing the Mustard Seed Spin next month? It's a kid-oriented fun ride that is well-supported. And it's for a good cause.

BONUS: It takes off from William Pond Park, so you could probably ride over to the start, too...
