Ride recommendations in Guerneville?
We will be staying in Guerneville for a couple of days over Thanksgiving. Anyone know of some good rides in that area? Shorter is better, because I will mostly be hanging out with the family. Think 1-2 hours, rather than the typical Gladiator epic.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I've only been up that way once, King's Ridge is beautiful. The climb from Fort Ross up to King's Ridge is a doozy.

Hey ROJA,
I haven't biked up there but Sweetwater Springs road is really nice on a motorcycle! You could do a loop of that road plus Westside and River road and looks like that would be about 24 miles. I have no idea what the road quality is like or how much traffic there is. I do remember that Sweetwater Springs was a bit like the bottom half of west Alpine road on the SF Peninsula if you've ever ridden that. It's a bit narrow and follows a stream that is overgrown with thick gnarled old trees. At motorcycle speeds it feels like you're blasting through a tunnel in the jungle but should be scenic on a bike too
Edit: Here are some pictures. Looks like this would involve some pretty steep hills.

Thanks guys! Sweetwater sounds awesome and it's right near the house where we will be staying! Sounds like this would be the loop you are talking about: https://maps.google.com/maps?q=https:/...kValues=179048
I could ride Sweetwater to the end and then go left to Healdsburg, like this route: https://trail.motionbased.com/trail/activity/12406
Very exciting!

I haven't been up that direction in ages and honestly I'm a bit jealous. I'll be expecting a full ride report with pics
