Paskenta century/race this weekend

Anyone doing the unofficial Paskenta 100 mile race this weekend on Sunday(yes Superbowl Sunday). Very little climbing and one of the fastest centuries you"ll probably ever do(If you make the lead break). Should be under 4 hours starting at 8am so plenty of time to watch the game.

Wow. Looks fun.

I'll be at the Early Bird though and Chico is a ways to go that early in the morning.

I wouldn't mind trying it next year. It'd be nice to see if I can hang on for 100 miles while trying to eat and drink. Do they stop at all or do they carry everything on them or do they have support vehicles?

That was last Sunday, according to the website; tomorrow is Honey Run loop, and today a spin up Humboldt Road (it's a bit bumpy).

https://www.chicovelo.org/calendar.html

One of the guys at work said he was doing the Paskenta with the group tomorrow, planning to turn back early and make it fifty miles. Huh. My guess - it was last week.

I'll be looking for the CV group rides when it's just a wee bit warmer at nine a.m. - also after my new ride is all shook down!
