I plan on being there early. Look for a guy that looks like a Specialized highlighter pen...

I'll be there when I get there. I'm leaving here at 8:30 and plan to take it real easy. Only about 15mi down.

Hey, PM me a cell phone number just in case I get a flat and end up running a bit late.

So long as the second half is the blast part, rock on.

As much as I hate to do it, I'm going to ride my beater bike down. Gettin close to time to leave and it's still sprinkling, though it looks like the sun is trying to peek out. Keeping fingers crossed!

Fun ride! I'll post the few picture (yes, singular) that I took a little later on.

For those that didn't go, you missed a dry, but windy ride.

Yeah this morning's ride was awesome. I had a great time and I hate riding in the wind.

I had fun too! Sorry I missed meeting back up for the prologue but I had to meet the family and find a decent place to watch. We ended up on the island at the hairpin.

Despite blowing up personally (Nutritionally and hydrationally challenged, was I. ) as well as the bike (I think I put the wheel back on crooked, because the brake was dragging all the way back to Jefferson), that was a fun ride. At a little under 40 miles total, that's the longest ride I've done fixed (and the longest I've done in months, period. ).
