And even if it doesn't have the bosses, you can use an old-school clamp-on cable guide.

Been there, done that. It works well, and the clamps are plentiful and cheap. I have dozens of 'em!

Re measured the frame in daylight, it's a 21.5 inch seat tube and 22.5 inch TT.

The KHS is compact geometry though, innit? A 21.5" seat tube on a standard geometry (horizontal toptube) frame is more like a 54-55 cm.

FWIW, instead of looking for a conversion tool, you can just type:

21.5 inches in cm

...into Google. Google Calculator has smart.

Thanks X. Compact has a sloping TT yes. And thanks for telling me about google. I just wanted people to see for themselves if they needed a conversion.

Inseam 32 and I'm 5'11 1/2

If someone else wants it that's fine BTW, I'm just interested in it.

I like the old Centurions. I had an Ironman that I loved and it got stolen, then I found another fixed it up and an idiot I let borrow it crashed it and ruined it.

Hey Siu, thanks and got your call, made it home ok. I couldn't wait and didn't even eat dinner. I went right upstairs got out the WD-40 and went to work. I like the frame...much lighter with everything off than I expected. Now just need to save some cash to build it up, but it will be cool...I'm calling the bike "Siu"...you like?

BTW exactly my size...60 cm

Glad you made it home!

And nice to see you are giving it the attention it needs. That was fast!! It really makes me happy, Pete.

And call it what you feel fits. I'm just really glad it's your size.

Great, now he's going to ride a 40 pound singlespeed bike up Diablo and make us all look even wussier.

Looking forward to seeing what you make of it, Pete.

Only took me an hour too strip it down, the hardest was getting the stem out. I had to use a bench vice. Cathy at some point will work her magic and touch it up for me.

Can't wait to see this project as it develops. Will you be showing us as it progresses?

Come for the ride Sunday, and bring it along. I've got a garage full of parts - what do you need?

I appreciate that but Sunday's still up in the air and I don't have a car, I really want to try to make it to the ride though the other half is almost convinced!
