Weekend Activities - 3/7 to 3/8
Hot diggity dog ... I just swapped on-call schedules, so it looks like I can ride this weekend after all ... woohoo. However, it looks like a racing weekend. With Berkeley TTT on Saturday, and Menlo Park Grand Prix on Sunday, looks like there is nothing local on the schedule. There is a ride inland ... waaay inland, so that's a drive for me, so I'll put that in the backburners.
Any other activity I am missing? Is it time for another Mellow Ride, or should I go for killing my legs?

I'm probably gonna try and get in some off-road unicycling with my brother this weekend (and capture video of it all ). After doing centuries the last two weekends this will be a nice change.

Hoping to go for a mellow ride Saturday (traveling Sunday). I've been sick, traveling, or it's been pouring rain since I moved, so I haven't gotten in a ride at the new place yet.

Just kidding around... actually I like mellowing out on the flat sections to shoot the breeze and enjoy the scenery. But something about hills (up or down) and that concept disappears

Hills, or flats, it's not my neighborhood so we'd need someone more experienced to host...

Yeah, we should definitely do an east bay hills ride after the TT!
I don't know the area extremely well either. Anyone have any ideas?

This weekend is one big conflict! Sunday will be my first roundy round race in Menlo Park and Saturday I think I'm marshaling a running race?
After being sick and a bad in grown Toe nail (from toe straps) I don't fee fit enough for anything, but it will be fun even if I only make one lap around the course!
I think I hate missing Bossman's/BikeShearer's pizza ride the most : (

I am hoping to get in a ride with some friends. If that falls through, I would love to join the East Bay hills ride. We could even do Beaker's Diablo climb (from Orinda BART, which is right by the TTT finish). About 60 miles RT and plenty of climbing, but a great ride.

Here are some of the routes from the other two East Bay hills BF rides (both starting from Orinda) led by Georges and Beaker:

Anyway, I'll probably be in Tahoe next weekend, so no ride for me.

Good thing I didn't go with you ... I would have been so far behind, I'd probably still be out there.

ooh, an East Bay Hills ride? Hmmm, I'll need to check with my social secretary first. I've been thinking about some alternative routes to the last couple as well - perhaps including Claremont and Shepherd Canyon next time round, we could have a pitstop in Montclair this time round.
When would the TTT wrap up?
