I don't know if I'm just out of touch or what, but I don't consider Justice to be "house". It sounds more like glitched up disco-tech to me. I think of it as more "hands in the air" and less "beats on the floor". They have so many build ups it's like they'd rather hear people screaming their names than make them dance.

::shrugs:: that's just the impression I got from "A Cross The Universe"

By the way, while the thread is hot:

((Blatant Self Promotion))

I'll be playing doing a live performance on June 1 in Albany at the Ivy Room. If you're into the Breaks, Drum & Bass, Dubstep sound come on down!

For those who'd like an intro to dance and anything around that theme, di.fm is a great place to start.

Wow! I used to live about a block away from there growing up. I remember it being a place old drunks would hang at. How times have changed.

I agree, I was just saying I really like them. House to me will always be DJ Dan, Glaude and Denise(formally knows as DJ D, local chick, she was spinning house for awhile), and Alain(another local DJ, before he hit it huge, he used to spin at house parties in Foster city, guy threw down some sick sets)

Gaw!! I remember DJ D back when she first started spinning. I was there for her first set (I think it was a Man In The Moon party). Dang that brings back some old dusty memories.
