Sunday 7/12 Tahoe EASY ride
I'm looking to set up an EASY ride in Tahoe on the 12th. Starting casually around 10am, going maybe 15 miles out and back and ending with lunch somewhere before heading home.
This is my after-DR spin, and my gf's, Sue Wen's, 2nd ride on her road bike. Route will be something near the lake, flat and slow (won't be needing your outside chain rings here).
Anyone interested, have recommendations?

No, on the roubaix. We're bringing 2 bikes already, and I haven't swapped the bars on the SS yet.

Not exactly flat (~1200') but ..... Blue Lakes Rd. is not as bad as any of the DR passes..... the distance is in your range (~12 miles out).... and IMHO, arguably one of the most beautiful rides in the Sierras...... if ya gotta have flat there's also the Carson River Rd/Diamond Valley Rd. Loop out of Woodfords Out of Truckee there's the Boca to Stampede Res. ride... and a lesser ridden Jackson Meadows out & back (Henness Pass rd. ~ 17 Miles N. of Truckee on 89)...

Looks like I'm a bit late in responding, but in case you're looking for another ride like this in the future there's a great bike path on the south shore. It starts in town and heads west, then north parallel to 89 hitting many beaches and historical sites along the way. Check out tahoebike.org for more info. It's a great ride.
