I was having trouble getting "Northern California" to fit, but if a few hate it, I'll try harder.
I like my ChampSys vest more than the jacket. It's a nice fit, stops wind in front and has a mesh back. I have one in NorCal, and one in 50+
EDIT: I just went ahead and changed it in my post. Thanks for the push, Beaker.

Curtis,
I agree with you on the arm/leg warmers. Black is good enough, I think.
Question - I noticed that this latest drawing in on a regular sleeved jersey, not raglan as depicted prior. Just curious - do they offer either/or, and which one is being planned for? I have both types, and don't have a real preference - just wondering.
It looks good. The only minor nit I have (and it is really minor) is the "HTFU" on the collar. I'm pretty sure I'm the only one here that would prefer it not being there, but I just thought I'd mention it. It has become so cliche, and I'm seeing it everywhere. We might find ourselves with yesterday's catch phrase on our jerseys sooner than we think.
Or, maybe not.

BBM: I'd taken a template for the file Alex sent me, and it was raglan.
Then I realized that if I wanted the words really big they'd have to wrap over the arm pieces. That would mean each size would have to be designed and built individually. YIKES. By doing I this way, and without a side panel I can have one file work for every size. I think.
I'll find out when I send this off to Champ-Sys.

HTFU. I tried to make it so very minimal it would hardly show. I think of it as an internal inside joke.
I have a Latin phrase on the 50+ jersey that, even though I made it as big and contrasty as I could it hardly shows.
So my devious plan is that is that HTFU is there, but only if you know it's there. It's 94% black on 100% black. And small.

Curtis, I'm probably in, too, and thanks for arranging all of this. But according to the Champsys sizing chart, I need an XS jersey (race or club cut) and a L bottom. I didn't realize I was so pear shaped. Any plans on getting some sizing samples?

Clubs and teams don't have years on their kits, events do.
It will take a while before we can wear these new jerseys so don't make it half obsolete at delivery time.

I can't get them until I place a deposit. What I've dome in the past is collect $$, then order. I have a medium and a large bib if that helps. I've found their club mediums run about what I'd think they should.

Everything looks great! My only suggestion would be to put www.bikeforums.net on the bibs to match the jersey.

Looks good to me, Curtis. Thank you, again, for stepping-up to the plate.
I'm in for a size S race cut jersey, windvest and bibs.

Don't mince words
I like this kit -- once again, Curtis, you've demonstrated that less=more. I especially like the HTFU; reminds me of the 50+ collar. I love an inside joke. Good job.
I'll let Chris take a look and weigh in here -- but I suspect we're in.

Ya know, after Henry's original design and Thien's alternate design there hasn't really been any one design that's really grabbed me since then.
But it's cool y'all are keeping the tradition alive. Keep it up!

Chiming in late, but this looks great Curtis! While I also don't favor ChampSys jerseys this is too cool of a design not to have one!

Hey Joel - do you dig the "shield" one that Alex came up with? If so, maybe we can hook up offline and get a couple of those made.
