Mechanic moving back to the Bay Area-Jobs?

Howdy folks,

My wife and I have decided to finally move back to the Bay Area. I have been gone for the last ten years and her the last 7. We plan on relocating to the east bay, most likely Oakland. I have been employed for the last seven years as a mechanic/service manager at various bike shops in Las Vegas, Houston, and now Kansas. I am going to be looking for work before we move and was wondering if any of you good people have any recommendations for reputable shops. Likewise, are there any shops worth avoiding? I take pride in my work, and would expect the same from any shop I worked for. Thanks in advance for any leads/help you might have to offer.

Chad

touch bases with Chris at Robinson Wheel Works in San Leandro, if he doesn't have anything, he may now someone who does. Or some of the linked shops at the east bay bicycle coalition. https://www.ebbc.org/
