Powder coating service in bay area?

Hey guys!

Im trying to powder coat my bike frame, along with my quill stem, crankset, and seatpost to make a super durable beater bike for everyday use.

Do you know who in the bay area i can turn to for a powder coat job that won't break my bank?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Electroplating Services in San Leandro does bikes, but I'm unsure about their pricing. I think it's usually cheaper with a simple color like white, but I just think that the lady I talked to told me that.

The only way I ever found EPS was through YellowPages.com.

Seriously, it works pretty well, and you may find a company more local to you.

What part of the Bay Area? The San Jose fixed gear people recommend a place in Santa Clara somewhere -- forget the name but I can ask if you want to venture to the South Bay.

Hey guys -

I realize that this is an old post, but wanted to get this out there. I had my bike powder coated at Maas Brothers in Livermore. I think straight colors run ~$85 or so (including beadblasting the frame). Mine was a metal flake and it cost $185. They also were able to work around the chrome bits on the frame and forks. They also do pick up and delivery. Cooler still, the samples are on beer cans (albeit empty).

...but of course....

Mass Bros only did the powdercoating...the LBS did the pinstriping around the lugs....Let me know if you need different pics and I'll see what I can come up with (might be limited by my photog skills)
