Best Buddies training ride tomorrow in Danville. All are welcome to join us.
Hey everyone,
The Audi Best Buddies Challenge: Hearst Castle is hosting our July training ride in Danville tomorrow morning. All are welcome to join us. Below are a few details:
Meeting Time/Location:
Departing at 9:00 AM from Blackhawk Plaza in Danville (Longs Parking lot at Crow Canyon & Camino Tassajara). Danville, CA - Map
Ride Leader:
Jeremiah Angel, Cell phone: 415.518.6135
Click here for the 45-mile route map. Note, there will be a turn off for those looking to do a shorter ride of ~25 miles.
A Special thanks to our Sponsor PG&E and their Captain, Keith Reed, for providing us with the suggested route! Tomorrow's ride will be at a casual no-drop pace giving everyone a chance to get to know your fellow riders and Audi Best Buddies Challenge Staff. The forecast is looking nice and sunny with temperatures in the low 80's. Make sure you you load your bike up with at least two waterbottles and cake on that sun screen! Best Buddies will be providing extra water and plenty of Jelly Belly Sports Beans to all riders. We also plan to make a food stop half way through our ride for a chance to purchase additional snacks and refill on water so be sure to bring some money along for additional goodies. Following the ride, all riders are welcome to join us for a little Mexican fiesta (with appetizers on Audi's bill!) at a restaurant across the street from our starting location.
