Is that petition a little bit late?

AH-HAAA ! I signed the petition. I'd just read about the other tunnel in my Rails to Trails magazine. Northwestern Pacific line also. I wonder if this will connect two sections for a nice long trail.

There already is a nice bike path from Sausalito north to Mill Valley. The Alto Tunnel would allow the trail to continue further north to the Larkspur ferry terminal. The Cal Park Hill Tunnel is north of Larkspur. If both tunnels can be opened, I think the long term goal is a continuous bike path from Sausalito all the way up to Petaluma in Sonoma County.
