NorCal East, Weekend Rides

This weekend sees a rare event. I'll be riding both days. Unfortunately, it's because my wife bruised her back and won't be riding.

Saturday morning will see 34 miles with my son (he's 8). Pace around 13/14. Breakfast at Karen's Bakery in Folsom a little past half-way (and after the 2 hills). Open to anyone that would like to join in. Leaving my house about 7am.

Sunday I don't know yet. Thinking about the Cothrin Ranch loop. Lots of tasty climbing. 2 options on this one. Either leaving from my house about 6:20. Or from Folsom Bike at 7:45 or so. Pace on this one will be 17ish on flats. Regroups at hill tops and key turns. ~55mi from Folsom Bike, or 86mi from my house.

Temperatures look good for the weekend.

Let me know if you'd like to go on either ride!

Joel, just rode Cothrin yesterday. Lots of really bad potholes just past the left turn by the Llama's and all the way down the first hill. You will break a wheel and do an endo if you hit one.
I added in Costco, Alexander and Beatty. Came out to 61 miles and 4800' of climbing.
Enjoy

That section is always bad. I take it easy on that descent just to avoid the holes. Thanks for the warning however.
