Annual Crazy Qumiby, Hamilton F&B, Kincaid, to Junction and back ride!

Remember this ride from last year.

Well it's time to do it again!

Here's last year's thread:
Ride Report: http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...-Hamilton-Ride

Description:
- Up Crothers
- Up Quimby
- Up front side Hamilton
- Kincaid detour
- Down backside Hamilton
- Out to Junction Cafe and back
- Up backside Hamilton
- Down front side

94 miles are nearly 12,000 feet of climbing.

Route Map: http://bikeroutetoaster.com/Course.aspx?course=79894

Plan is for this Saturday 8/28/10 @ 8:00AM

Any takers?

C'mon don't these guys look happy:

I'm trying to decide if I should do this or a shorter ride.

I'm thinking of doing this, then adding a ride Sunday morning. The weather looks MUCH cooler on Saturday.

This ride is so not easy though. The trip back to Mt. Ham from the Junction is very tough, water-wise. If I'm out there I'll be bringing a platypus bottle to fill at the junction.

There's also the chance to turn this ride into an epic by turning down from the top and repeating sections by riding up with the tandem.

I am making it my life's goal this weekend to make sure your repeat opportunities are limited!

Thanks for the invite but I have plans. I am doing a century in Marin that same day.
The Marin Century and Double Century Workers Ride.
I just did the front side and back side of Hamilton last Sunday, so I am a little glad I have an excuse to miss this.
Have fun

Chris had to bail.

Looks like the roster is:

Marco & Ruth
Ramon
Donald
Michael (partial)

Anyone else?

Good luck. I will be with you in spirit, at least after 2 or 3pm when I get home.

So did you go to the junction, or just to the front side of Hamilton?
