Ebbett's Pass
 

Ebbett's Pass is finally open. I took advantage of this nice day (finally!!) to ride it. There is snow on the side of the road all the way from 7500' on the east side to Bear Valley on the west, sometimes as much as ten feet or more on both sides, making it like riding in a tunnel! But the road itself is suprisingly dry with just a couple of wet spots. With all the campgrounds still closed and the lakes still frozen over, there was very little traffic; a sweet ride!

Cool. Alta Alpina DC is this Saturday, can't wait to ride it.

I was on Ebett's two Fridays ago. Roads are perfectly clean. Very little debris. And very little traffic! Get it while you can folks.
