July 4th Davis Crit, Thanks.

Just wanted to say Thank You to all the volunteers for making it another great race. Specially in that heat!

P.S. To the guy who kept saying "on the inside" on every corner... No one gives a ****. Hold your line and don't try to squeeze where there is no room.

What race were you in?

We rode to it and provided more cowbell at the start/finish. It was pretty crash-tastic, esp. the women's Cat3/4 race. Ouch.

It was a crash fest no doubt, lost some skin and maybe a frame...

I was in Men 4s. Hmm not sure if there were any crashes there. Although I was near the front entire race. So maybe at the back? I did see firetrucks on the course after the race. Towards the end even the front was getting sketchy. I think the heat was playing havoc with everyone. No one even really contested the prims or final sprint. I know there was a crash in Women 3/4. My friend was involved.

Sorry to hear that. At least it's just the frame, that can be replaced.

I was loading trucks with hay bales at 5 am

I'm suprised that the 4's race went so smooth considering all the crashing going on in the other races. Then again, I stayed near the front as well. Managed to nab a couple primes in the process.... new set of GP 4000's and $50 in food/drinks
