Sacramento - Morning Training Rides

Starting to get serious about training for my first racing season next year. Anyone know of any weekday training group rides in the morning (between 6 am and 9 am) in the Sacramento area?

I don't know of any regular rides that early. The Sacramento Wheelmen have a couple of regular morning rides. You can also find some at Hammerin' Wheels. But I am pretty sure those rides are a little later. What's your time window?

Most of the weekday race rides in Sac are in the evenings, some go all winter and some don't. But once early spring hits there are a number of rides you can catch any day of the week.

I used to see folks waiting / meeting one morning of the week (think it's wednesdays) at Guy West Bridge by Sacstate around 7:00 am. Not sure what that ride is...........Saturdays river ride is rain or shine year round, meet behind City Bike works dwntwn at 10:00am Saturday..........There's Tues and Thursday River Rides on S. River road, but those don't go through the winter........Not sure on the Generic Route ride either, Monday Evenings I believe. Those will get you training for sure!! Saturday can kill ya depending whos in town and riding............

Thanks! I regularly hit the ARBT, I will see if I can meet up with the folks at Guy West.

I am definitely going to check out the 10:00 AM ride on Saturdays. Any idea on the route they take from City Bike Works to S. River Road? Tower Bridge to S. River Road to 15th to Jefferson to S. River Road?
