Can anyone tell me if the work on the Golden Gate is done yet? Or do you still have to walk your bike across .

You can ride your bike across on the west side. Has been like this for a little over a month now.

There are warnings about delays, but I haven't experienced any.

We shouldn't need to, but we have to sadly. They shouldn't be on the western side.
Still they are tourists though, they think they can do whatever they want...

No pedestrians on the west side, except for construction workers on weekdays.

Few tourists this time of year, especially on weekday mornings.

There are fewer pedestrians on the west side, but they are still there (at least on the weekends).

https://www.goldengate.org/ is the best info source about what's happening with the Golden Gate Bridge. I even subscribed to a mailing list and they send me regular updates about events, construction, closures, etc.. If you ride it often, subscribe by selecting the "Customer Alerts" link at the top center of the home page.

I've crossed the bridge eight times (out and back) in the past few weekends and I've never seen or heard of a ticket being given to a cyclist.

I'm talking about speeding tickets for going over 15 mph on your bike over the bridge. Well I heard during construction they were to curb hitting pedestrians.

ahh my mistake. As far as I know a speed limit for cyclists isn't past the idea/proposal stage.
