i tried maas once and they quoted me a price. i took to frame to them and left it. i called back and they said that there would be a premium of 50-100 dollars for the paint i wanted, because they would have to buy a new batch or something. blah, blah, blah.

i went down and got the frame. (it had already been stripped) and took it to Spectrum powdercoating over in fremont (it's off of industrial pkwy). they had done a previous frame and the price was right, so was the work, and was done in a week.

i just should have gone back to them in the first place.

i've also had one done at E-tech in Walnut Creek. a little more expensive, but again, a good job and a quick turnaround.

These gentlemen can bead-blast your frame to strip it and do powder and liquid clear coat finishes.
Joe and Antonio and his crew are up to whatever job I've tasked them with. They can be fast/slow depending on whatever else they have going on, but the price has always been right and they have always made sure I am satisfied with the finished job. Most of all, their work has proven durable.
