Sunday Streets in San Francisco

Has anyone been to Sunday Streets in San Francisco at all?

https://www.sundaystreetssf.com/

I never been there, but I'm think to go there to since I'll be in the city for the weekend.

I've been to a bunch of them. These are mostly family events. A few miles of street closures with thousands of people in the streets. Most of them are better for walking than biking because of the congestion.

Yeah, they're fun. Daughter and I will be there for the Embarcadero day.

Beach cruiser time, and defensive riding. They are fun, but the rides are pretty short.

Looks like I'll stop there this Sunday to see it. I'll plan for the one in July on the Great Highway as that one would look good too.

The Great Highway and 3rd Street Sunday Streets are the only ones that I'd bring my bike to, since these roads are wider and less congested. The Great Highway connects to Golden Gate Park which has its own weekend street closures, so I think you get 10 miles or so of car free streets.

Here's another video of the Chinatown Sunday Streets, which isn't the most crowded event. The routes through the Mission can get even more crowded. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gi7tqs_zRs0

I don't know SF too well, but still confused - where do you see Chinatown in the list for this Sunday? I see just the Embarcadero.

It's a different neighborhood every month... not all at the same time. This Sunday is Embarcadro only.
