Horner in Spain

Chris Horner won the Vuelta a Espana this week on a seriously epic mountain. The Angliru was criticized as being too hard and no one would use it to attack and it would never make a difference in GC.

Local perspective:

Good story as at 41 he's the oldest man to win a GT. Impressive since he suffered a concussion in the TdF as well as a serious blood clot in his leg. For you climbing wanna bees, I read that he's 5'11" 135lbs. Man I need to lose a little weight...

Makes Mt. Diablo look easy, doesn't it, .

By the way, I'm totally blown away by Chris Horner's performance. We need to make him an honorary member of the 50+ club; there's hope for us yet!

Chris Horner has a smile for a suffer face and a soaring bird victory salute. Hard to tell which is more cool.
His is inspiring.
