Where'd Everybody Go (on Foothill)?
I've been riding the "west way" again recently down the peninsula from Stanford to Cupertino/Santa Clara -- it's warm, the moon is out, and NO BIKES on the road. Last night I saw two bikes over an hour of riding (and only one on Foothill). The night before, one. I passed a bike store & saw a bunch of guys indoors riding on trainers in front of a TV... you're missing out!

I think you are talking about outfitter peleton spin class or something like that.

Okay, today I saw six, maybe eight bikes. Before 2PM, though and yeah, I was overtaken by two who rushed up for a couple of blocks before turning off (and one who was tailing me up the hill then pedalled like crazy past me on the straight downgrade along Page Mill. Nice bike, but why wear a baclava on a nice day like today?)
