Maybe if the driver was caring a patch kit and mini pump he wouldn't have to SAG it in.

As found at Cummings Skyway & San Pablo Ave today.

The first two seasons of Portlandia were classic. After that... not so much.

Sorry about the crummy picture, S-Work Bike & Old Flip Phone.
(A cyclist has to have priorities)

I have been thinking about washing my bike in one of the stalls at the So Quik Car Wash for a while.
It is only a mile from my place.

Today was the day, I pumped in a few quarters, and presto!
I didn't skimp, even went all in on an a coat of clear sealant after the rinse.

A gorgeous showroom shine, making a 6 month old bike, with over 3,700 miles, look brand new.
A bit obsessive but, it was fun.

Yeah, bearings just love the pressure wash treatment...

And you have a water hose handy in case your CF frame spontaneously bursts into flames.

Pholuvr is right about the bearings, though. A pressure washer is probably not a good thing for hubs, bottom brackets or headsets.

The wand up in that wall holster is not really a pressure washer.
It puts out a nice fan shaped mist for rinsing.
I was careful around hubs, bottom bracket, and headset.

My CF frame was fine, it is the Crabon Fiber ones that heat up and explode.

Right.

There's a reason why smart folks and pro mechanics bucket wash.
