Tomales to Petaluma to Tomales.
Rode a loop from Tomales to Petaluma to Tomales. Spring Hill Rd. and Chileno Valley Rd. 38 miles of rolling hills. Mostly very well paved and few cars.

I suspect it can get pretty windy up this ridge...today was just a slight breeze. Low to mid 60's. Perfect.

Thank you for posting your beautiful photos of your adventure.
I ride that area once a year or so, and you remind me that I am due for a visit.
Happy Thanksgiving.

Did you stop at the Tamales Bakery for a cinnamon twist?
Between October and April is the time of year to ride out there. Usually sunny and light winds.
A 65ish mile loop is from Petaluma to Pt Reyes and then up 101 to Tamales for a lunch stop. Take Fallon-Two Rock back to Alexander and then Tomales to Chileno Valley rd.

I ride a similar but slightly longer route out of Novato regularly. West Marin and southern Sonoma are GREAT.
Happy Thanksgiving!
