Don't know if he quit making frames or not, 'can't imagine that he would because he's been building for quite a while, but, I spoke with him a couple some years ago and he was still going. If you really want to try getting a hold of him, PM me and let's see if we can contact him.

Hello, recently I picked up a seriously neglected road bike with SASO decals being the only indication of origin. It had an unusual stem setup with a custom-made double-expanding 1" threadless stem adapter and handmade stem to match the frame, which is made of fillet-brazed oversized steel tubing. Seeing as it'll need a re-paint, I'd like to contact the maker to see if replacement decals can be had. I would appreciate any help in making the connection. Thanks in advance!

Dale is still active - check out his web site

Dale has revamped his site at www.sasobike.com
His contact information, both the email address and phone number, is listed on the web papte.
He is still actively building custom steel bikes and taking on a variety of projects.
I'm posting his latest model that I'm currently riding.
