Looking for an excuse to get out of town the weekend of May 6&7? Come join our small, unsupported group ride we've been doing for the past five years, launching from downtown Port Angeles for about 60 miles of some of the best scenic roads, trails and byways in the area. Pace is generally moderate to slow, with several stops for regrouping, photos and snacks. Hardcore roadies will be bored. Usually this ride is less than ten riders, but this year it may be 20+ judging from early responses.

New this year is an alternate first leg for people who don't relish the 'big climb' in the first 8 miles. Links below have all the info...

Detailed description of ride, in blog form.

Post with some Qs and As over in the Classic & Vintage subform, where I mostly hang out with my middle aged vintage bike nerd buddies.

Web page of The Downtown Hotel, the start/end point of the ride. For folks traveling to this event The Downtown Hotel is offering two-for one pricing on their already cheap rates!

Feel free to contact Tim at the Downtown Hotel to book your room or ask any questions you have.

Port Angeles Metric Century posted

It appears to be a great ride in a spectacular area. West Sound Cycling Club has it posted on their Club Website and some of us are passing it around. I hope to be able to ride and maybe keep up.
