Where to find a bike box at SeaTac airport?

Their web site proudly states that boxes are available for purchase from the Smarte Carte office on the baggage-claim level. Called just to make sure. And of course, no, sorry sir, we don't sell those anymore

I would really like to ride to the airport for my upcoming tour to Spain in about a week. Last time I did this it went beautifully, but I used a plastic bag that I could carry with me. This time I am flying Norwegian, which requires a cardboard box.

Does anyone know if there is an airline at SeaTac which would sell bike boxes?

Thanks,
Mark

There's a bike shop (Angle Lake Cyclery) at the train stop one past the airport. You could hit them up for a box (most likely free).

This was reposted in the Touring subforum, with a bunch of replies:

I decided to use an Amtrak box, because they're also on the light-rail route, and the box is the standard (old?) airline size, where you don't have to remove wheel(s).
