Be Careful With Traffic Pushbuttons

Folks:
You might want to be careful with the traffic signal pushbuttons. They can be a source for the virus as virus can survive on some metals for up to 3 days.
I did a little project to make a copper wand (copper is more toxic to viruses; they last not much more than three of four hours on copper) and if you use the wand to whack the traffic signal pushbutton, the amount of area touch the button would be smaller than the area with you flesh or clothing mashing the button. As long as you don't touch the tip of the wand, you should be okay.
I created a short video on what I did:

I've been tapping them with the bottom of my foot when I have to, but mostly waiting for the street to clear instead of hitting the button at all.

Last knuckle of my glove. I always have my Hammer flask of alcohol sanitizer in a jersey pocket with a sanitary wipe in a plastic bag.

Good tip - I use my elbow for this for the same reason.
