Curb Alert!
We all have a boss. I have been given a decree. These bikes are to leave the shop.
These bikes are not for sale. They are free to BF members (& BF members only) in the local area.
PM me for pickup times & location.
Edit: Removed pics. Will contact BW.

Yes, I know I need to straighten the handlebars & drive-side photos are best. So is sizing information & tons of esoteric details.
Yeah. The important part is they're free.
Rim braked road bikes of any variety just do not sell. Add to that the downtube shifters...Well it doesn't matter if the bike is made of gold or carbon fibers sourced from angel feathers...I need the real estate for contemporary flat bar bikes that the homeless will accept & recreational cyclists will actually pay a fancy dinners worth of coin for.
Just come take them.
Please.

Attn: @Mr. 66, if you're interested in picking up that Schwinn, I could sure use that white Vetta saddle.

Bike Works (https://bikeworks.org) is a non-profit organization in Columbia City where I’ve been a volunteer since 2015. We move about 8,000 donated bikes/year. Besides bikes that are moved on to international organizations, bikes we rebuild range from older hybrids and kid’s bikes that are made safe and usable then provided free/cheap to deserving recipients, up to donations like this lovely 1987 Fuso that another BF and I restored for the annual Bike Works fund raiser several years ago (1987 Fuso 30th Anniversary - Renovation - check Dave Moulton’s comment near the end of the thread!).
