cycling groups in Seattle

Now that I'm done with grad school, I have time for a social life! I know several cycling groups of the "let's all meet up and bike to a bar and drink together" variety exist in Seattle, but unless you already have friends in one, in sort of hard to get connected. Anyone know of any groups in Seattle that tend towards the younger (I'm 25) end of the spectrum? (Extra points if they also tend toward the queer.)

I tag along with the Byrne group sundays down near the I90 bridge sometimes. Although sometimes I feel like an outcast (or maybe people dont like to talk to the new guy), but hey, it is their open club ride....

Point83 might be up your alley, reevebot. They have group rides Tues & Thurs I think, and are a much younger/more open crowd than most of the more organized groups or race teams.

Usually their destination is a bar or somewhere to drink, and from the few rides I've done with them they were all really nice.

Also Velo Bike Shop has an informal group ride on Sundays at 9 AM, I've done that one a few times too. (that one's more bike-centric, no beer)

cascade is not young but they're not totally old either.

pointy three is definitely young but they're waaaay too cool for a geek like me.

i'd also check out mobius just to see if they know of any rides- they're pretty chill for a bunch of track bike junkies.

also, this is seattle- anything that doesn't tend toward the queer is too busy wiping egg off their house/car/face to get anywhere near a bike. as it should be
