Cycle Wild Bike Camping in 2010
In less than 2 weeks, Cycle Wild will host it's 14th and final guided camping trip for 2009. As you might imagine, 14 trips is A LOT, and it can be very difficult to maintain that aggressive of a schedule. One thing we noticed was that some of our regular campers started getting camping burnout - so we're going to throttle back a bit for 2010. Here's the plan:
1st Weekend of every month.
Cycle Wild is going to have 10 trips annually. 8 of those trips will be the first weekend of every month from April to November. That makes it easy to plan for, ensures that we continue camping on Labor Day and July 4th weekend, and that camping never conflicts with Pedalpalooza.
Ok, so that's 8 trips. What about the other 2?
We've had a number of people say they can't get weekends off. We want to cater to them as well, so we're having 2 trips during the "conventional" work week. But we need to know what days work best, so if you work on Saturday/Sunday but can camp during the week, please go to https://www.cyclewild.org/ and answer the poll question on the right-hand side of the page. Please don't take the poll if you have weekends off - thanks!
