McKenzie Pass this weekend?

Does anyone know whether McKenzie Pass is ride-able from Sisters yet?

Thanks!

I checked on the McKenzie River side last week, the road is open only to Alder Springs campground for now. I didn't ask about the Sisters side. You can call ODOT at this number for status 503-986-5816x230

Thanks Shifty - I called, and apparently due to extra snow this week they haven't made the initial pass with the snow blower yet. We'll have to be patient!

Shifty: Keep me posted. I still have this ride on the 'bucket list'.

I'm planning on doing this one but probably not until mid June - July.

I just heard of this event ride next weekend (May 15) going from Black Butte Ranch to the McKenzie Pass summit, with the road still closed to car traffic. Here are the details https://www.nationalforests.org/news/news-107.html

Just posted on tripcheck.com: Hwy 242, McKenzie Pass is open to cyclists and pedestrians for the entire length. Still closed to motor vehicles. The weather forecast for this weekend looks very good, don't miss the chance to do this ride car free!
