(Not so) Chilly Hilly in reverse - Saturday August 28 - Bainbridge Island, Wa.

I just noticed this ride coming up Saturday august 28 -- looks like the Kiwanis club on Bainbridge Island is sponsoring a new ride, basically the Chilly Hilly route in reverse (if you've ridden the Chilly Hilly, you'll notice that there are a few minor deviations in the route).

I think it's a new ride?

Anyway, the lap around Bainbridge is such a nice ride I thought I would mention it for anyone who wants the assistance of support and snacks for their first ride around the island. Though the route is famous for the Chilly Hilly, the roads are open year round and it's always a nice lap around BI.

Well, Kiwanis did a good job in organizing this ride today, and for an inaugural ride its well thought out specially the routes. The support is overwhelming to say the least, they are everywhere which is good. Rest stops is well stock with fruits, cookies and smiling natives (maybe a bagel will put on the top of the list), but what I like the most is the lack of crowds. I would do this again next year.
