Hawaii in two weeks
Hey all -
I'm heading on vacation to Oahu (wikki beach) for 10 days in December. planning on renting a road bike and exploring the island by bike. Im pretty experienced rider from Boston, so i'd love to get out there while the northeast is frozen. Can anyone recommend me a good shop to rent? any good rides that will let me see the best parts of the island?
thanks in advance

When I was in Oahu, I checked out The Bike Shop but the weather was sketch and I was heading to Maui in a couple days where I'd have a bike for the week. The bikes were fine and it's a nice shop. The area is not near as rider friendly as Maui. There are also a few group rides..I saw ones for Thursday and Saturday. I chose to run instead.
Good luck and have fun.

i don't know who has rentals but these are the bike shops in town:
island triathalon
the bike shop
eki cyclery
mccully bike
bike factory
bikewerx
momentum
at least this is what i can think of at the moment
there are a few co-ops and there might be some places dedicated to rentals but i don't know where those are, if any. i hope this helps for now.
btw, i really hope you didn't mean to say waikiki beach...
