Bike Rentals in Seattle
Hey all of you Seattleites, got a question for you. It looks like I'm going to be heading out your way this summer for an internship in the city. I'm a clyde who just recently took up biking again around the college campus here at the University of Illinois and also doing some rides on the weekend out into the countryside. It doesn't look like I'm going to have a vehicle to keep out there so a bike would be nice. However, gonna be driving a rental car out there and while it would be possible to throw the bike in, I was just curious if there are any places that will rent bikes on a monthly basis or something along those lines? Also, if any of you know of someone who is looking to sublet their apartment, or has an extra room and is looking to rent it out, I will be in town from the beginning of June until sometime in the middle of August. Thanks for any info you may have on either issue. Looking forward to coming out west!

Hi Josh,
There are a few places I know that rent bikes in the area. Depending on what you're looking for you may be better off flying yours in despite the cost, or just picking up something off craigslist for the month.
Regardless of those options here are places I know that rent

https://www.montlakebike.com/
https://www.ticycles.com/
There are probably others, but I fear I only rent the occasional Tandem since I live 'round here.

Gregg's Grenelake cycles rents bikes and some decent ones at that, bu tI don't know if their rates would be practical for a month. I would recommend buying a used bike. You can try Recycled Cycles (not to be confused with R&E cycles) or perhaps Craig's list if you have enough time to look around. Recycled cycles would probably buy it back when you are done with it.

monthly and weekly bike rentals in seattle
For one or two days there are plenty of options, like recycled cycles, etc., but we're doing weekly and monthly rentals of hybrid and road bikes starting at $80/wk or $120/mth. Includes a lock and helmet:
