I find it entirely possible pcad abandons Addiction and its offspring for new and brighter pastures, namely his I'm back thread. He posts pics of Greece there, which should get it up and running to at least 10-20 pages. Then it takes off, depending on who leaves and who stays.

Has anyone used the ebay hong kong carbon rims? Tubular, $190/pair.. debating it for cyclocross racing. That way if they break then I won't get hurt like in a road race. If they last through cross season I'll race road on em.

Boy, I just caught up on this thread, and am severely disappointed. I did my "training ride" for the w/e this am and was very proud of myself, finishing the 20 miles in 58 min. I thought I would blow up but I didn't. Then I read last night's discussion. How hard is it to take a pic of each page of your bike computer. I have a Strada, and was planning to take a pic of the elapsed time, the clock at the start, the clock at the finish, and the trip distance. The only way to "cheat" if doing that is that the computer only measures time moving, thus the clock at start and finish. IF we do this, I will post verification regardless.

I do NOT believe that Razor could average 24+MPH over 20miles without a tailwind. If so, he should indeed be racing.

Sorry Ichy, but you make a lot of claims, and do not ever back them up. I would suggest that you try racing the guy with the MTN bike tires on his cross bike who can get to 27mph.

Thanks, but I'm going to go with rims and build them up myself. That way I know they're at least half safe.

Ride harder. Or just ride with the tailwind and pull a razor.

Not always when you consider the cost of tires.

I too covet Zipps. I am worthy of them, but I can't afford them.

Oh the woes of life.
