Coasting, you may find that the balaclava will be more helpful with your weight loss goals than the baklava.

Yay! I passed my company's Business Ethics test last night! Thankfully there was nothing mentioned about how spending time on bike forums is unethical.

How can it warm up the air? I don't breath through it, but even if I did the air goes in and out too fast for it to warm up.

For the most part, folks in this thread are ethical. The higher ups just need to know you learned much of your ethical behavior right here.

Bikes: everywhere

If you keep it over your nose it it warms the air. Basically your exhalations warm the whole snout area, so it warms the initial part of inhalations.

It does work. I had to keep mine on over my mouth and nose this am, as much as I detest it.

The train finally cleared the road, and I took off. I was a good 1/4 mile down the road, and the Chevy truck that was waiting with me at the crossing caught up to me, and laid on his horn.

I guess it was my fault the train was there.
trains on crossings scare me.

There is a cardiologist in my town from Syria. Every year for Christmas he sends out HUGE boxes of baklava (about 200 pieces) to all the other docs. I got home from Mexico to find the box in my office. There goes the diet.

I think he owns stock in Pfizer and wants us all on Lipitor.

Well that was disappointing. I was so excited to see 35 degrees that I neglected to check the wind. I knew the first part of my ride was way to easy, I had a 20+ mph tailwind. Thanks to said wind, my feet got cold so I couldn't ride nearly as long as I wanted to.
