Coasting, you may find that the balaclava will be more helpful with your weight loss goals than the baklava.

you docs are all the same. that's what my gp said. he said i should get a balaklava to warm up the air i breath when i ride. if i had some baklava i would have offered him some there and then.

Yay! I passed my company's Business Ethics test last night! Thankfully there was nothing mentioned about how spending time on bike forums is unethical.

If you keep it over your nose it it warms the air. Basically your exhalations warm the whole snout area, so it warms the initial part of inhalations.

The holidays are over. I was stopped at a train this am, along with 2 other vehicles. All the others turned around, as the train was stopped. I went up to the gate, as I have been known to walk around the end of the train, if it isn't too far. Just then, the train started moving, which was good, considering how cold it was this morning. The train finally cleared the road, and I took off. I was a good 1/4 mile down the road, and the Chevy truck that was waiting with me at the crossing caught up to me, and laid on his horn.
I guess it was my fault the train was there.

Trains piss me off. I flip off the engineer every chance I get. Heaven forbid if you are a railroad employee fixing the gates because then you get an earful. Juvenile behavior for an old fart, I know. But it makes me feel better, and after all, that's all that really matters. Right?

Well that was disappointing. I was so excited to see 35 degrees that I neglected to check the wind. I knew the first part of my ride was way to easy, I had a 20+ mph tailwind. Thanks to said wind, my feet got cold so I couldn't ride nearly as long as I wanted to.
